Traffic violations targeted as Royal Oman Police confiscate motorcycles, cars in Rustaq

The Royal Oman Police has intensified its efforts to curb dangerous traffic behaviour, with authorities in South Al Batinah taking action against motorists violating road safety regulations.

MUSCAT : In a statement issued by Rustaq Police Station, the South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command confirmed the seizure of a total of eight motorcycles and two vehicles for offences including reckless driving, drifting, and causing public disturbance. The violations were identified during routine monitoring and enforcement operations carried out across the governorate.

Police officials said legal procedures are currently being completed against those involved.
