MUSCAT : Acting CEO Badr bin Mohammed Al Zaabi said the final report highlights the national effort to support deserving families through a comprehensive package of programmes, including cash and food aid, housing, education, healthcare, orphan care, and internal relief. He emphasised that these results were achieved with the support of socially responsible companies, donors, and benevolent citizens, showcasing values of solidarity and social cohesion in aiding vulnerable groups.
Al Zaabi pointed out that OCO is moving towards expanding and improving the quality of its services, enhancing sustainability, increasing the efficiency of the social support system, and aligning with Oman Vision 2040.
According to the report, the aid distributed in 2025 included RO 1.215 million in cash assistance and RO 1.217 million in food aid, while the housing programme received RO 551,575, and education support amounted to RO 371,344. Therapeutic services accounted for RO 236,983, internal relief programmes reached RO 134,924, and support for orphans totalled RO 1,623.
