MUSCAT : eMushrif, an Oman-based provider of school transportation management technology, has raised $7.5 million in a funding round led by Jasoor Ventures, with participation from Annex Investment, Ithca Group, IDO Investment and a group of private investors, the company said.

Existing investor Phaze Ventures also joined the round, reaffirming its support as eMushrif enters a new phase of regional growth.

The company’s last disclosed funding was a $2.3 million Series A round in December 2020, led by Oman-based IDO Investment.

Founded in 2016 by Adnan Al Shuaili, Awadh Al Shukaili and Issa Al Shuaili, eMushrif develops technology for school transportation management, combining IoT hardware, AI-driven analytics and real-time data platforms to enhance student safety, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Its platform serves public and private schools, transport operators and government entities.

eMushrif currently supports more than 120,000 students across Oman and Kuwait, operating in high-accountability environments where reliability and compliance are critical.

The newly secured funding will be used to support regional expansion, with a primary focus on scaling operations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, alongside continued investment in product development and operational capabilities in Oman and Kuwait.
