MUSCAT : In a statement, Oman said it is closely following developments related to the unity and territorial integrity of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia, and reiterated its clear position in support of Somalia’s sovereignty and internationally recognised borders.
The Sultanate emphasised the importance of respecting the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, calling on all parties to refrain from any unilateral actions that could undermine the unity or sovereignty of states.
