MUSCAT — The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy will be on public display in Muscat on Wednesday, December 17, as part of the international trophy tour ahead of the 2026 championship.
The coveted trophy will be open for public viewing at Oman Avenues Mall from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, before moving to the Oman Cricket Academy ground in Al Amerat from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, organisers said.
The tour comes as Oman prepare to compete in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka and is scheduled to begin on February 7, 2026. Oman are among the 20 participating nations in the global showpiece.

Coached by Duleep Mendis, Oman have qualified for the tournament for the fourth time, marking their second consecutive appearance after featuring in the 2024 edition, which was co-hosted by the United States and the West Indies.
The trophy tour offers cricket fans in the Sultanate a rare opportunity to view the iconic silverware up close, reflecting Oman’s growing presence on the international cricket stage.
