Muscat: His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, met today at the Ministry’s headquarters with His Excellency Karamoko Jean Marie Traore, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two nations.
The meeting reviewed opportunities for collaboration across several sectors of mutual interest, with a focus on developing trade exchange and encouraging reciprocal investments to support economic growth on both sides. Discussions also highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise, strengthening communication between public and private sector institutions, and opening new avenues for cooperation in commercial, industrial, and investment fields.
During the talks, His Excellency reaffirmed Oman’s commitment to expanding its economic partnerships with African countries, in line with Oman Vision 2040, which aims to diversify the national economy, enhance the business environment’s competitiveness, and attract high-quality investments.
