MANAMA : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at his residence in Manama on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the 46th GCC Supreme Council Summit.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the strong and longstanding ties between Oman and Italy, emphasising their shared commitment to expanding cooperation. Discussions covered a range of existing collaboration areas and explored new opportunities for partnership across various sectors.
The talks also underscored the mutual interest in strengthening economic, investment, cultural, and political ties, building on the friendship between the two nations.
