MUSCAT — The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has confirmed the tragic death of an Omani family of six — a husband, wife, and their four children — in the Al Atkiyah area of Al Amerat, according to an official statement released on Tuesday.
The ROP said that the Operations Centre received a report of the incident, and preliminary information indicates that the family may have died due to inhaling carbon monoxide gas while asleep. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
