MUSCAT: The inaugural TAS Inter-School Badminton Tournament 2025 has drawn an overwhelming response from schools across Oman, with a record number of registrations pouring in from students eager to participate in the two-day championship.
Organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS) in partnership with the Morning Stars Badminton Club and hosted at the Kosmos Badminton Academy in Wadi Kabir, the tournament will bring together some of the most promising young shuttlers from schools across the Sultanate.
“We are truly encouraged by the incredible enthusiasm shown by schools and students,” said Robin Sebastian from Morning Stars Badminton Club. “This overwhelming response highlights the growing passion for badminton among Oman’s youth and reinforces our commitment to nurturing sporting talent at the grassroots level.”

The championship will feature boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles categories across Under-13 and Under-17 divisions, ensuring a dynamic mix of emerging and experienced players.
Winners will be honoured with the prestigious Ever-Rolling Trophy, presented annually to the best-performing school, along with medals, certificates, and special recognition awards for outstanding performances.
The Morning Stars Badminton Club, known for promoting youth badminton across Oman, will oversee tournament operations and ensure professional standards in coordination with Kosmos Academy officials.
With the courts set and the excitement building, the TAS Inter-School Badminton Tournament 2025 is poised to become a landmark event in Oman’s school sports calendar celebrating youthful energy, teamwork, and the unifying spirit of competition.
