The campaign focuses on four key pillars:
- Field monitoring through extensive inspection tours.
- Media awareness through dissemination of educational messages across various channels.
- Field workshops that provide direct guidance to shop and factory owners.
- Joint evaluation to prepare accurate reports on compliance levels and violations.
Yaquob Mubarak Sultan Al Ghafri, Director of the Authority’s department in Rustaq, affirmed that the ‘Tahqqaq’ campaign represents a qualitative shift in field monitoring mechanisms. He noted that the second edition comes following the positive results achieved by the first edition, which contributed to raising awareness among traders and consumers, reducing violations, and expanding cooperation among regulatory bodies.
Al Ghafri added that the Department continues to develop the inspection system through the use of modern technological tools, which contribute to the timely completion of tasks and more accurate field monitoring.
He emphasized the significance of educational initiatives through workshops and media programs targeting various segments of society, with the aim of promoting a culture of voluntary compliance among shop and factory owners and strengthening the principles of transparency and fair competition.
