MUSCAT — The Muscat Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Special Tasks Police Unit in Boushar, has arrested 57 drivers for actions that disturbed public peace and disrupted traffic flow in various areas of the wilayat.
According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the drivers were stopped for creating loud and disruptive sounds from their vehicle exhausts, in addition to engaging in behaviours that caused congestion and hindered traffic movement.
Authorities confirmed that legal procedures are being completed against all individuals involved.
