MUSCAT : The Royal Oman Police (ROP) Coast Guard has recovered the body of a missing citizen who was found dead approximately one nautical mile off the coast near Sultan Qaboos Port in Muscat.
According to the ROP, maritime rescue teams launched search efforts after the man, a resident of the Wadi Al Adai area in Muscat, was reported missing. He had left his family home on Sunday, and no contact with him had been established since.
Authorities confirmed that the body was located and retrieved by the Coast Guard. Further investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
