• Under-13 (born on or after November 20, 2012) — Boys’ & Girls’ Singles and Doubles
• Mixed Doubles — Open to any player under 17
Each school team will consist of 20 players, competing in nine matches per tie to determine the winners in their respective groups.
Medals will be awarded to the winners and runners-up in each category, while the overall champion school will lift the prestigious rolling championship trophy.
Beyond competition, the TAS Inter-School Badminton Tournament aims to foster community spirit and sportsmanship by bringing together students, coaches, teachers, and families under one roof.
“The Arabian Stories has always believed in empowering the youth of Oman — whether through storytelling, innovation, or sport,” said Nishad Padiyarath, Founder and CEO of The Arabian Stories. “This tournament is about more than winning matches; it’s about building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love for sport.”
The event underscores TAS’s expanding footprint beyond media, as it continues to support national efforts to build a vibrant sporting culture and nurture grassroots talent across the Sultanate.
