MUSCAT : The official opening ceremony for the new Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held in Muscat today under the patronage of Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in the presence of Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister.

The establishment of the embassy represents a significant milestone in the evolving friendship and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Azerbaijan, serving to further strengthen bilateral relations and advance mutual interests.
In his ceremonial address, Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan expressed profound satisfaction with the embassy’s inauguration in the Omani capital. He emphasized that this diplomatic advancement reflects the shared commitment of both nations to deepening their diplomatic and economic engagement. The Minister further articulated his vision for enhanced bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors including trade, energy, agriculture, and education, noting that such collaboration will serve common strategic interests while reinforcing the growing partnership between the two friendly countries.
