Fujairah- The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, has been awarded the Fujairah Award for Best Sustainable Mining Practices in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in its tenth edition. The award was in the third category dedicated to efforts for the preservation of geological heritage, as part of the activities of the tenth Fujairah International Mining Conference held in the Emirate of Fujairah.
This achievement reflects the fruitful outcomes of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism’s diverse programs aimed at preserving and sustaining geological heritage.
