Turkish President concludes landmark visit to Oman

MUSCAT : Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan concluded his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday, marking a new chapter in the growing partnership between the two countries.

During his stay, President Erdogan was received by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik at Al Alam Palace, where the two leaders held a private meeting that covered a wide range of political, economic, and diplomatic issues. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, enhancing trade and investment ties, and exploring new avenues for partnership in key strategic sectors.

The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the long-standing relations between Oman and Turkey, built on mutual respect, shared values, and a common vision for regional stability and prosperity.

President Erdogan’s visit also underscored Turkey’s growing engagement with the Gulf region, while highlighting Oman’s pivotal role as a trusted partner and bridge for regional and international dialogue.

The visit concluded with both sides expressing optimism about expanding collaboration in trade, logistics, energy, tourism, and technology paving the way for a stronger and more diversified partnership in the years ahead.
