Muscat – The ROP stated that its Coast Guard Police, in cooperation with the Directorate for Combatting Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command, arrested two individuals of Asian nationality near the beach of Shinas.
The suspects were apprehended while attempting to enter the country illegally and smuggling large quantities of crystal meth, hashish, and marijuana, in coordination with an international drug trafficking gang.
According to the ROP, legal procedures are currently being completed against them.
