MUSCAT – The Authority stressed that it never requests card details or one-time passwords (OTP) from consumers. Any such requests received via phone calls, text messages, or emails should be treated as fraudulent attempts.
According to the Authority, financial refunds are only processed through direct deposit. At no point will Authority employees make telephone requests or demands for personal or payment data.
