MUSCAT – The Ministry stressed the importance of strict compliance with Ministerial Resolution No. 195/2018, issued on December 26, 2018, which outlines the official fare structure for public taxi services. Companies are prohibited from altering transport fares without obtaining prior official approval from the Ministry.
The statement pointed out that any unauthorised changes to fares constitute a violation of the regulations, and the Ministry will take the necessary legal action against offending operators.
