MUSCAT : His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, arrived in the Sultanate of Oman today (October 14) on a private visit.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the welcoming ceremony at the Royal Airport, receiving the Kuwaiti Emir with full honours in the presence of senior Omani officials and members of the Royal Court.
During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan and His Highness the Emir are expected to meet at Al Barakah Palace, reaffirming the deep-rooted ties of friendship and cooperation between Oman and Kuwait.
