Muscat – The CBO assured the public that all banking systems within the Sultanate’s financial sector remain secure and have not been compromised. In its statement, the central bank emphasised that there has been no breach reported in any bank’s electronic infrastructure.
It urged members of the public to exercise caution, avoid spreading unverified information, and refrain from sharing personal or banking details with untrusted sources. It also stressed the importance of relying solely on official channels for accurate updates and information related to the banking sector.
