MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has welcomed a proposal to establish an Omani embassy in Minsk during his official visit to Belarus, a move aimed at deepening cooperation and friendship between the two nations.
In his meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, His Majesty expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to the Omani delegation and conveyed his admiration for the beauty of Minsk and the richness of Belarusian culture.
His Majesty noted that the discussions held since the beginning of the visit reflected strong mutual understanding and a shared vision to advance bilateral relations. During an evening conversation, both leaders explored opportunities for collaboration across multiple sectors that would yield mutual benefit.
