Muscat: The luxury cruise ship SH Diana, named after the Roman goddess of light and the wilderness, docked in Salalah this week after sailing in from Egypt’s Suez Canal Port, marking the first tourist vessel of the season.
Adding to the influx of visitors, 155 tourists also landed at Salalah Airport, underscoring the region’s growing appeal as a global destination during the cooler season.
Launched in early 2023, SH Diana is part of a new generation of expedition vessels designed to explore some of the world’s most inspiring and hard-to-reach locations. The ship can accommodate up to 192 guests across 96 cabins and suites, many of which feature private balconies, and is staffed by a crew of 141 to ensure world-class hospitality.
