KUALA LUMPUR : The recognition, announced during the World Social Security Forum 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, covers three critical areas: contribution collection and compliance, service quality, and human resource management.
Dr. Mohammed Azman, President of ISSA, lauded Oman’s progress, describing the unification of pension funds into a single, comprehensive protection system as a “model to be emulated.” He emphasized that such reforms strengthen the adaptability and long-term sustainability of social security frameworks worldwide.
Adding to the achievement, the SPF also secured the Asia-Pacific Good Practices Award, a rare accolade presented once every three years to a single country for outstanding innovation and excellence in social protection systems.
