Muscat: The programme, part of the Academy’s strategic RASMUS initiatives, targets 18 Omani startup founders and executive leaders. Over six months, participants will undergo a rigorous learning journey that blends theory with practice, including international field visits, mentorship, and interactive sessions with global experts.
Dr. Fathia bint Abdullah Al Rashidi, Assistant President for Programs at the Royal Academy of Management, said the initiative is aimed at accelerating the growth of emerging companies. “This program seeks to provide executive leaders with the tools and expertise necessary to expand their businesses globally, attract investment, and strengthen Oman’s innovation ecosystem,” she explained.
Qais bin Rashid Al Tobi, General Supervisor of the Promising Omani Startups Programme, described the initiative as a “culmination of ongoing national efforts to build an integrated entrepreneurship ecosystem.” He highlighted its role in preparing startups to attract quality investments, penetrate new markets, and sustain long-term growth.

The programme features four key modules covering strategic leadership, financial planning, growth readiness, and human capital management. Participants will develop skills in negotiation, opportunity exploration, and the application of artificial intelligence for expansion. They will also gain exposure to global best practices through visits to accelerators, incubators, and international startup hubs.
By the end of the programme, participants are expected to deliver tangible results, including clear expansion plans, enhanced leadership capacity, and strengthened institutional structures.
