MUSCAT : Speaking on behalf of the Judging Committee, she praised the high quality of submissions, highlighting their commitment to Sharia principles and their role in advancing the national Islamic economy. She emphasised that the entries reflected “broad vision, depth of thought, and excellent commitment to the lofty principles of Islamic Sharia.”

Dr. Al Harthy highlighted the Judging Committee’s dedication to integrity and transparency throughout the evaluation process. “We undertook a great responsibility, committing ourselves from the first moment to trustworthiness and accuracy,” she noted. The committee meticulously designed competitive categories, facilitated requirements, and applied the highest standards of objectivity and fairness during the assessment process.

This year’s submissions, according to Dr. Al Harthy, represented a rich mix of experiences – ranging from long-established institutions to emerging talents – blending tradition with innovation in ways that mirror the evolving spirit of the Islamic financial sector.

“While some competitive categories saw limited participation, this did not detract from the quality of the submitted works, which represent a blessed step toward reinforcing excellence and leadership in this sector,” she remarked.

Dr. Al Harthy also reaffirmed the role of the ‘Themar’ Awards in shaping the national Islamic economy and promoting a culture of excellence rooted in values. “Every participation in this award is a building block added to the structure of excellence and a blessed stride on the path to leadership,” she said.
