MUSCAT – The Themar Islamic Banking Excellence Awards 2025, organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS), took a decisive step forward on Saturday as its high-level jury committee met and evaluated nominations.
The panel was led by His Highness Sayyid Dr. Adham Al Said, Assistant Professor at Sultan Qaboos University’s College of Economics and Political Science. He was joined by Dr. Siham Al Harthy, Chairman of Sama Real Estate Company and Board Member of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dr. Ashraf Al Nabhani, former Chairman of the Muscat Securities Market; and Dr. Ahmed Kashoub, Chairman of the Index Center for Economic and Financial Consultations.
The awards will be presented on the sidelines of the Themar Islamic Banking Conference 2025 in Muscat. Organisers said the committee’s deliberations have set a benchmark for transparency and professionalism, reinforcing the awards’ mission to celebrate excellence, innovation and sustainability in the Islamic finance sector.
