In parallel, the delegation engaged with experts in real estate and housing solutions for workers in economic zones and held talks with fund managers supporting renewable energy-linked industries. The visit also coincided with the logistics conference in London, jointly organized with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and Asyad Group. The event shed light on the logistics potential offered by Oman’s robust infrastructure, free zones, and adjacent ports.
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy emphasized that the Authority sought, through this visit, to build strategic partnerships that enhance the competitiveness of Oman’s economic and free zones and industrial cities, and opportunities to attract a number of future industries to provide new job opportunities and reduce the import of production inputs for large factories, thus supporting economic diversification priorities, especially in the identified industrial clusters.
