MUSCAT – The meeting discussed key topics on the COP30 agenda, including just transition, climate action finance mechanisms, and strategies for adaptation and mitigation of climate change impacts.
The session also focused on defining national priorities and formulating Oman’s negotiating position, with an emphasis on enhancing coordination with international negotiating blocs, particularly the Group of 77 and China (G77 + China) and the Arab Group, to effectively represent Oman’s interests and ensure its voice is heard.
