Muscat: Organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Development, and the Qatar Cancer Society, the summit will bring together more than 40 international institutions to showcase the latest innovations in cancer care and to build global partnerships in awareness, prevention, and research.
Dr. Wahid bin Ali Al Kharousi, Chairman of OCA, said at the launch event that the countdown had begun for “an important and unique event” supported by strong government backing and wide institutional cooperation. He stressed the summit’s role in enhancing Oman’s position in the global fight against cancer.
The four-day programme will feature scientific sessions with health experts, workshops on cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment methods, and CME-accredited courses for professionals. The agenda will also cover policies for cancer control, precision medicine, mRNA immunotherapies, CAR T-cell therapies, and patient empowerment strategies.
