MUSCAT – Oman’s participation will feature a national pavilion showcasing the contributions of various government and cultural institutions, including the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Sultan Qaboos University, the Omani Writers and Authors Association, the Oman Memory Centre, and Bait Al Zubair, in addition to a selection of private libraries and publishing houses.
His Excellency Sayyid Saeed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, emphasised that Oman’s participation underscores the deep and longstanding ties between the Sultanate and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He noted that this collaboration reflects the strength of cultural exchange and knowledge-sharing between the two countries.

He stated that the Sultanate attaches great importance to this participation and is making every effort to present it at the desired level, meeting the aspirations of both countries and presenting a realistic vision of the Omani cultural scene to the Jordanian public.

His Excellency added that this participation marks a significant milestone in advancing cultural communication and exchange, fostering mutual understanding, and promoting Omani intellectual and creative achievements to a broad Arab and international audience.
The Omani pavilion will feature a wide display of Omani intellectual production, including publications by government bodies and civil society organisations; an electronic corner showcasing e-books and audiobooks; an augmented reality (AR) and hologram zone to present elements of Omani cultural heritage; an exhibition of historic Omani documents and manuscripts, including materials related to Oman-Jordan relations; a showcase of Omani cultural elements registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List; a photography corner, tourism promotion area, and a multimedia display featuring short films about Oman; dedicated spaces for Sultan Qaboos University, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs; and the Ain platform by the Ministry of Information.
To complement its pavilion, the Ministry has also prepared a comprehensive cultural and artistic programme covering the full duration of the fair. The programme includes lectures, poetry and music evenings, seminars, workshops, and panel discussions, spanning various creative, social, and literary topics.
It is worth noting that previous participations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and South Korea have achieved positive results by highlighting the Sultanate of Oman’s rich cultural achievements, supporting cultural and creative industries, promoting cultural dialogue through the cultural program, and contributing to the introduction of Omani culture in its various forms.
