Muscat: His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a phone call with Her Excellency Yvette Cooper, UK Foreign Secretary, during which the two sides underscored the importance of reaching an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and advancing efforts towards a comprehensive peace framework.
The ministers agreed on the urgent necessity of facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid without obstacles, stressing that the international community must work collectively to end the suffering of civilians in the besieged enclave.
Both sides reiterated their commitment to supporting diplomatic efforts aimed at restoring stability, safeguarding human rights, and achieving a lasting and just peace in the region.
