Muscat: During his meeting with the Council of Ministers at Al Mamourah Palace in Salalah, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik reaffirmed the steadfast principles of the Sultanate of Oman’s foreign policy in preserving international peace and security.

His Majesty and the Council commended the outcomes of the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, describing its conclusions as a unified stance in support of regional stability and justice.

The Council further conveyed Oman’s condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the sisterly State of Qatar, stressing that the attack constitutes a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a breach of international laws and norms.

Reiterating Oman’s unwavering position, His Majesty affirmed the Sultanate’s full solidarity with Qatar and its complete support for all measures it may take to safeguard its sovereignty and security.
