MUSCAT : The agreements, signed by His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Saeed Al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, include 11 development and service projects alongside six investment ventures with national companies.
Among the key projects is the first phase of the Jebel Shams Tourist Facade Project in Al Hamra, valued at RO 2.9 million, which will enhance tourism facilities in one of Oman’s most prominent destinations. Another highlight is the Eastern Mountain Oasis project, also in Al Hamra.
Roadworks form a major part of the contracts, with new internal road networks planned for the Al-Qabdiyah area in Adam and the Al-Dasr Industrial Area in Samayil, in addition to the rehabilitation of the Izki Hospital access road. The total road sector allocation stands at RO 710,000.

Lighting projects will also be rolled out, including installations at Izki Commercial Market, Adam, and the long Aqaba road in Al Hamra. In parallel, a digital transformation advisory initiative will help enhance institutional performance and improve public services.
On the investment front, contracts were signed to establish and operate tourism and entertainment projects at Nizwa Public Park, with a value of RO 530,000. The projects aim to strengthen Nizwa’s role as a central tourist hub in Al Dakhiliyah.
Governor Al Hajri stressed that the contracts align with Oman Vision 2040, blending tourism, infrastructure, and digital services.
The Governorate reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the private sector, offering incentives to attract long-term investment while prioritizing projects that serve local communities and elevate service quality.
