MUSCAT : The Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education will begin implementing the first phase of the National System for School Performance Evaluation tomorrow. The initial sample will include 100 public and private schools from three educational governorates—Muscat, South Al Batinah, and Al Dakhiliyah—during the 2025-2026 academic year.
Dr. Jokha Abdullah Al Shukaili, CEO of the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education, stated that the national system represents a qualitative leap in the development of education in Oman. She noted that it was designed to be contextual and suitable for Oman’s educational landscape, based on Oman Vision 2040, the Education Law, and the Education Strategy.
