MUSCAT – In a poster shared on its X (formerly Twitter) handle, the account stated that there is no truth to the claims made in the video, which alleges the issuance of a royal decree granting RO 3,000 to citizens on the occasion of National Day.
According to @RumorsOman, the video was created using artificial intelligence techniques, and is entirely false.
The account emphasised the importance of verifying information before sharing it and called on the public to rely on official sources for news and announcements. “We urge everyone to obtain information from official sources and not to be swayed by rumours or unreliable information,” the statement read.
