RIYADH : Oman’s delegation was led by His Excellency Dr. Nasser bin Rashid Al Maawali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy. The session was held as part of a decision by the GCC’s Economic and Development Affairs Authority to convene senior officials for recommendations on maximizing cooperation among member states in achieving their national visions.
Discussions focused on identifying common pillars of national strategies, ensuring they align with shared GCC objectives without compromising domestic policies. The meeting also explored the formation of a joint committee to coordinate efforts in implementing and monitoring these visions.
The committee’s role will include creating dialogue platforms for member states to exchange expertise, conducting studies on regional and global best practices, developing a comprehensive database, and tackling challenges in monitoring and execution.
