MUSCAT – According to the latest weather maps and satellite imagery, the Sultanate of Oman is expected to be indirectly affected by this system through the influx of cloud formations, which may bring scattered rain showers over the next three days. However, there is no direct impact on the Sultanate at this time.
Meteorologists also note a weak to moderate chance of the system developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Specialists at the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre continue to closely monitor the system’s development and movement.
