Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued a warning to the public regarding a fraudulent social media account that is impersonating the Directorate General of Traffic.
In an official statement, the ROP clarified that the account is fake, unauthorized, and has no connection with the Directorate. The police urged citizens and residents not to engage with the account or share any personal information through it.
The ROP stressed the importance of following only official, verified channels for information and updates, underscoring its commitment to protecting the public from online fraud and impersonation attempts.
