Muscat: This year’s theme, “Pursuing Air… Every Breath Matters,” underscores the importance of clean air as a basic human right and calls for urgent action to safeguard the health of people and the planet.
In line with Oman Vision 2040, which places environmental sustainability at the core of national development, Oman continues to strengthen policies and adopt innovative solutions to reduce emissions and support a transition to clean energy.
Among the key initiatives, the Environment Authority recently launched the “Naqi” platform, designed to monitor and provide real-time air quality data across governorates. The platform aims to raise public awareness, encourage community participation, and promote transparency in environmental reporting.
