MUSCAT – The programme saw the participation of 50 child protection delegates and specialists from various government institutions concerned with child affairs.
The programme’s objective was to prepare qualified national trainers in the field of child protection from abuse and to provide them with the knowledge and skills outlined in the Child Protection Manual. This effort aims to standardize concepts and procedures in the field, as well as to enhance the efficiency of professionals working in sectors related to child services and protection.

The programme sought to equip participants with the training skills necessary to transfer knowledge to other staff members and to build a national network of trainers capable of supporting the practical implementation of the manual. Additionally, the initiative aimed to enhance integration among different sectors to ensure a safe and supportive environment for children and to improve the quality of interventions and services provided to them under all circumstances.
