MUSCAT : He was seen off at the Royal Airport in Salalah by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, along with a number of senior Omani officials.
The farewell ceremony was attended by His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, His Excellency Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, His Excellency Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (Head of the Honorary Mission), and His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, His Excellency Eng. Salem bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, and His Excellency Ambassador Qais Saad Al Ameri, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Sultanate of Oman, Ambassador Sheikh Mahmoud bin Mahna Al Kharousi, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Iraq, and a number of senior military officers from Dhofar Governorate and members of the honorary mission.
