MUSCAT : The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in Muscat Governorate seized more than 300 school supplies and children’s items containing symbols offensive to religious values.
A total of 347 items, including toys and school supplies with skull prints, were confiscated from commercial establishments in the governorate. The action was taken as the products violated the Consumer Protection Law and its Executive Regulations.
The establishments were fined, and the goods were removed from circulation. The Authority stressed its commitment to protecting community values and ensuring products in the local market comply with national laws and cultural standards.
