Muscat: The meeting, attended by Her Excellency Ibtisam bint Ahmed Al Farooji, Undersecretary for Investment Promotion, highlighted the Ministry’s efforts to improve the investment climate, attract foreign direct investment, and build a flexible legislative framework to support sustainable growth.
Her Excellency revealed that the Ministry had recently held a workshop to review the Foreign Capital Investment Law in cooperation with OCCI, as part of measures to align with global investment trends. She also announced the launch of the “Eshrak” window through the Invest in Oman platform, enabling investors to share feedback on policies and legislation.
Key topics discussed included incentives for investors, targeted sectors, prohibited activities, the Invest in Oman Hall, and the upcoming “Golden Residency” program for investors, set to launch on August 31, 2025. The meeting also reviewed major opportunities in Al Dakhiliyah, including 11 projects worth more than RO 61 million listed on the Invest in Oman platform.

According to official data, the governorate recorded 24,962 commercial registrations in the first half of 2025, including 610 foreign investments. Automatic licenses issued reached 63,980, while Nizwa Industrial City now hosts 190 projects valued at RO 514 million, and Samail Industrial City houses 188 projects worth RO 270 million.
His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Saeed Al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, stressed that the governorate remains committed to fostering partnerships with the private sector, offering incentives, and selecting high-value projects that align with its unique environment and Oman Vision 2040 goals.
