MUSCAT – “Abandoned houses can become hotspots for unlicensed slaughtering, unsafe storage and waste buildup. These practices threaten public health and spoil our city’s beauty,” stated the Municipality.
Highlighting common ‘unhealthy practices’ that are prone to occur in abandoned houses, the Municipality listed accumulation of waste and rubbish, unlicensed slaughtering and improper storage of food as major issues.
“These practices threaten public health and spoil our city’s beauty. Muscat Municipality is working to stop them, but keeping Muscat safe is a shared responsibility,” the Municipality added.
