AMSTERDAM : Docked among the largest historic vessels, Shabab Oman II became one of the highlights of the maritime festival, attracting long queues of visitors and extensive media coverage. The ship, a national symbol of Oman’s rich seafaring legacy, reflected the Sultanate’s enduring maritime heritage and its message of peace and cultural dialogue.
Alongside the ship’s participation, the Oman Investment Authority organised lectures and presentations showcasing the Sultanate’s investment opportunities, economic potential, and logistical capabilities. The initiative aimed to position Oman as a leading global investment destination while reinforcing its cultural presence on the international stage.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salem Al Harthy, Ambassador of Oman to the Netherlands, described the participation as a reflection of “the depth of the historical and friendly relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands” and Oman’s commitment to spreading a humanitarian message of “peace and love.”
