MUSCAT : Musa bin Masoud Al Jadidi, CEO of Oman Housing Bank, confirmed that housing loans in Dhofar grew by 4% last year compared to the previous year. The bank approved 112 new loans in 2023, with a combined value of more than RO 5 million.
Al Jadidi emphasized that these results highlight OHB’s developmental role in providing sustainable housing solutions and enabling citizens to own suitable homes. He also noted that the bank has successfully cleared all waiting lists for housing loan applications in Dhofar after completing disbursements, and is now expediting loan approvals across other governorates.
The CEO further highlighted that the bank’s long-term strategy is focused on supporting economic and social development by facilitating housing ownership, expanding access to finance, and introducing efficient housing services tailored to the needs of Omani families.
