JAIPUR – Running through August 21, the workshops aim to strengthen Oman’s presence in the Indian travel market and highlight its diverse tourism offerings.
Organised in collaboration with Omani tourism sector institutions and airlines, the workshops include bilateral meetings between Omani tourism companies and their Indian counterparts, alongside in-depth presentations on Oman’s tourism experiences, investment opportunities, and prospects for cooperation.
The event is part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to enhance Oman’s tourism presence in the Indian market and promote the Sultanate of Oman’s diverse tourism offerings.

The ongoing sessions aim to enhance cooperation with tourism sector partners in India and highlight competitive advantages that make the Sultanate a preferred destination for Indian tourists, particularly families and those seeking authentic recreational, cultural, and natural experiences.

India remains one of Oman’s most important source markets. In 2024, approximately 623,623 Indian visitors travelled to the Sultanate, contributing significantly to Oman’s total inbound tourism figure of 3.9 million visitors.
These figures reflect the growing importance of the Indian market as a priority market in the Ministry’s marketing strategy, particularly given the deep cultural and commercial ties between the two countries.
