MUSCAT – “Displaying cars for sale in non-designated areas compromises traffic safety, harms the city’s urban image, and violates Muscat Municipality regulations,” stated an alert from the Municipality.
According to the Municipality, displaying cars for sale in non-designated areas undermines the city’s appearance and road safety.
It listed out the negative effects of such practices as follows:
• Increases traffic congestion
• Spoils the public view
• Disturbs nearby residents
• Obstructs pedestrian movement and blocks visibility
• Violates Muscat Municipality rules and regulations
