MUSCAT – Preliminary estimates issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), shows a significant rise in domestic tourism, with Omani visitors increasing by 75.6 percent, reaching 334,399. Visitors from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries totalled 69,801, while international visitors from other nationalities reached 37,900.
In terms of mode of arrival, 334,846 visitors entered Dhofar Governorate through land ports, while 107,254 arrived by air – representing a 10.9 percent increase in air arrivals compared to the same period last year.

It is worth noting that 95.3 percent of Dhofar Khareef visitors – until the end of July 2025 – came during the period from July 1 to July 31, while the remaining 4.7 percent visited during between June 21 to 30.
